The Strategic Business Unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) – iON offers a free 15-day digital certification program to train undergraduates and postgraduates with basic employability skills. The program called “Career Edge-Young Professional†is free and accessible to everyone. Interested candidates can register by registering on the official website at tcsion.com.
According to the official statement, this course will help job seekers improve their basic employability skills such as communication, collaboration, business etiquette, financial and digital literacy. The course will cover 14 modules of behavioral, communication and foundational skills in accounting, information technology and artificial intelligence.
TCS iON digital learning program: duration
The course will be taught for 15 days and candidates will have to complete at least 7 to 10 hours of lessons per week. The course format is designed as an online self-study. A learner can complete each module in 1 to 2 hours.
TCS iON Digital Learning Program: Course Content
The module contains videos, presentations, reading material and webinars recorded by TCS experts. Learners will also be required to take end-of-module self-assessments which will assess their understanding of the concepts. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a personalized certificate.
The 14 modules of the TCS iON digital learning program will include topics to improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills, improve presentation creation, develop soft skills for the workplace, create a strong CV and cover letter. as well as how to succeed in company interviews. The program will also focus on teaching business etiquette professionals, writing effective emails, understanding basic accounting principles and artificial intelligence. It will also help learners develop their basic computer skills by listening to TCS technical experts. In addition, all of these learners can also access a moderated digital chat room where they can post their questions and share their suggestions.
